Excellent food. The Valentine's Day special is particularly nice if you get the chance. The view is lovely, good service, nice selection of wines. Though the view is best by day, it is more romantic at night! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to couples!

Great spot and atmosphere overlooking the bay. Food and service were very good. My wife enjoyed the salmon- one of the best meals she had in town. I was more into the Lemon Chicken that night and it too wasvery good.

Neptune's Palace. Located on Pier 39 I expected this place to be a touristy. You know, over priced bad food and bad service. The food is excellent, fresh and top quality. I had the Hazelnut Crusted Halibut ($22) and it was very good. My wife had the Pinenut Crusted Sea Bass ($18). A bit pricey $19 for half a crab, you can walk out the door and get a whole crab for $14 on the wharf. The view of the bay is outstanding. The atmosphere is fine dinning, but not stuffy. The service is excellent. A great place to unwind after a day on the wharf.

Being on Pier 39 one might expect this to be tourista and there are tourists, but this is an exception. Some of the best seafood in SF with a great view to match. Some of the best chowder in the city (Original Joe's not withstanding). Expensive but not overpriced considering.

This restaurant was very disappointing with regard to the entrees and the service. We asked to split a Cesar salad (which was very good) and received one plate set between us. When we asked for another plate, we received two very small bread plates and were never offered fresh ground pepper. Even Denny's knows how to serve a split salad. I ordered the mahi-mahi and prawns in ti leaves, and the prawns were very overdone. My wife ordered the halibut in parchment, and it was one of the driest pieces of fish I've ever tasted. Although the view and ambiance are great, I will never eat there again.

The ocean view from the resturant is great but the food is average and the dishes are too small. You can enjoy the view but you will need to go to anther resturant after to eat again.

I was very surprised to see this restaurant as one of the top seafood restaurants in San Francisco because our group had a very negative experience there. We were a group of six that had different dishes and we were all very dissatisfied with the food. I will admit the atmosphere and service was very nice. There is also a wonderful view, and the location is great, right on the pier. However, we all felt that this was just a tourist trap because everything was great, but the food.

Neptunes Palace had the BEST food I've tasted anywhere. The view was terrific overlooking the water, the service was goodI had the seafood gumbo and my girl had the tortellini. EXCELLENT!We were both very happy with the experience. The tab was $100 with tip and a few drinks and well worth it.Park across the street and get your parking validated to get 2 free hours.

This spring I traveled to San Francisco for the first time and tried this restauraunt on the recommendation of this service. My family and I were very impressed. The food was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the curried shrimp and salmon (Thai-style). The service was attentive and the the surroundings, lovely.

NICE VIEW, I recommend to go there once. One of the best seafood restaurants in Fisherman's Wharf. I feel that the fried potatoes are the very real. Probably I cannot eat fast food's ones again. TO JAPANESE PEOPLE: Pier 39 is the best place in Fisherman's Wharf, I think. And easy to parking.
