This will be the Anchor Inn's first review, AND my first negative
review.
<br>
Attached to a Quality Inn, the Anchor Inn serves typical restaurant
fare at so-so prices.
<br>
So, what's my beef with it? The owner's desire to make
money over satisfying clients.
<br>
Example:
<br>
3 Egg Omelette...$5.99
3 Egg Omelette, but have them hold one egg...-$.25
3 Egg Omelette, but have them ADD one egg...+$.75
1 egg for a two year old...$2.99
<br>
Yes, our party of 7 did order each of these and had we known the price
of the single egg, we would have just hacked a bit off of an omelette.
The owner, when asked if we could cut us some sort of discount,
simply responded... "That's the price on the menu"
<br>
I know it is only $2.99, but the owner's rudeness and complete
lack of consideration for our $90.00 tab just soured this place
for me.
