An awful, awful experience. Never have I had such a bad meal. Overpriced,
unappetizing, tiny portions, horrible service. We had had Indian
food all over the country, and this was the worst. $8.50 for 8 garbonzo
beans and 2 chunks of potato? Come on!
We had to go get dinner after our dinner to make up for this experience.

Possibly the worst indian food experience EVER. I wouldn't recommend this
place to my enemies.
Overpriced food, terrible service and unappetizing food. Went in on a whim,
and regretted it !!
I've had some great indian food, but this was truly inexcusable. A meal for
two came upto $45-50 and we
had the basics !! STOP giving this place your business !! it's not worth it

Easily the best indian food, and the best vegetarian food
I have ever eaten. I always get their full thali, and have
never been disappointed. The portions are smaller than other
indian restaurants, but then, the finest french restaurants
also give small portions.
Their banana curry (which is NOT a curry like any thai or
indian restaurant that I have ever tasted) is unique and
delicious.

For all its rating, a very average place and maybe even below
average for its serving sizes and variety. I have been to this
place only once and do not intend going back. The positive points
are the food is really different (not necessarily better) from the
rest of the Indian restaurants and spiced differently (maybe a
little blander). The desserts were below par too. We tried the
Jamun and Ras Malai. It wasn't even authentic. Its quite
expensive for the ambience and serving size too. The service is
OK. The Dhoklas were very good and authentic however.

Above-average Indian restaurant. The usual dishes, but
executed well using fresh ingredients. My only complaint
is they only have cheap blended wine (a la Summit);
food this good would be enhanced by a decent cabernet
or zinfandel (but not chardonnay, the food is spicy).

Excellent food. Actually different experience from all the
other run of the mill Indian Restaurants in Bay Area.
If going on Friday or Saturday, reservation is recommended.
