Summary: The sushi was very good, but the manager/owner (Lena?) was terrible to us.
We had a large group from out of town, and she put us in the tatami room, which had us all excited. That was the high point. After we finished ordering, Lena complained that we weren't ordering enough sushi and said something about a $25 minimum per person for this room. The way she talked to us was terribly demeaning and most of us were offended by her manner. We told her we didn't know that, but if she would serve us quickly we would leave quickly and make the room available again.
Later, Lena came back brandishing a check and then BERATED us for leaving her a 6% tip. She addressed an asian girl in our group and said, "Are you Chinese?" Why did she say that!?!? We explained to her that WE HAD NOT YET RECEIVED OUR BILL, so she was mistaken. The mood of our little get together was trashed.
If the sushi had not been so good I would have given this restaurant one star.

My mother said not to say bad things. But, mom (Japanese) would agree that I am doing the right thin g. Fuku should be avoided at all costs. The sushi/sashimi menu did not list prices. This should have been my first clue. Not only was it overpriced, it was dry, poorly cut, and poorly presented. The teriyaki had a "special" burnt toast flavor that was truly unique. The miso was out of a box (coul d have been freeze-dried tofu.) The name of the restaurant truly describes the dining experience "Fuk U"!!!

Avoid, unless you are staying at a nearby hotel and have no other place to go. It helps if you are just hungry and don't care much about what you eat. On an objective level, the prices are outrageous.
