If you're in the Japantown area and are looking for Korean food, try Seoul Garden. Tho it's not as good as some of the other Korean restaurants in the Bay Area, I think the food is still pretty decent. They have both a BBQ area (where you can cook your own food) and a normal seating area for ordering off the traditional menu. I remember once having some excellent bi bim bap (not standard bi bim bap, but a spicier sizzling variation. Bi bim bap is a Korean rice dish with lots of various stuff, like egg, meat, many kinds of veggies, etc. on top, and before you eat it, you mix it all up with some spicy red sauce) here, but recently when I went, it wasn't on the menu anymore. Not sure if this is because I went at an off-time and was given the lunch menu, or if it has been taken off the menu altogether in favor of concentrating on more popular (American taste?) dishes.
