Of all the Korean restaurants in San Francisco, this is the best for overall food, atmosphere and service. This is not a barbecue house although the Kalbi is the best in town. The serve many dishes not available in other restaurants and with authenticity. This is not a westernized Korean restaurant. <br>

"Good Food and up scale atmosphere and interiors. This is where my Korean clients would bring me for special meals, or business meals. The food is good, portions are a bit on the small side for a good Korean restaurant. This is the sort of place I feel uncomfortable in if I am casually dressed. The Kal-bi is my favorite dish here. The good news is, Parking is readily available down stairs.

Price is reasonable but food portion is not as expected especially the BBQ food. Generally, the food is alright.

If you're in the Japantown area and are looking for Korean food, try Seoul Garden. Tho it's not as good as some of the other Korean restaurants in the Bay Area, I think the food is still pretty decent. They have both a BBQ area (where you can cook your own food) and a normal seating area for ordering off the traditional menu. I remember once having some excellent bi bim bap (not standard bi bim bap, but a spicier sizzling variation. Bi bim bap is a Korean rice dish with lots of various stuff, like egg, meat, many kinds of veggies, etc. on top, and before you eat it, you mix it all up with some spicy red sauce) here, but recently when I went, it wasn't on the menu anymore. Not sure if this is because I went at an off-time and was given the lunch menu, or if it has been taken off the menu altogether in favor of concentrating on more popular (American taste?) dishes. BBQ dishes are okay, and the portions a bit small. I was puzzled at not getting any lettuce with my BBQ orders, whic ... more

Many Korean restaurants are located in the Japantown area. We had a large gathering hear (15 people). The food is okay, not as good as the New Korea House across the street (Post St). If your a korean cuisine fan, its just fun to try out all the Korean restaurants and judge for yourself. I would put this restaurant as one to try.
