This place is a bit run down and EXTREMELY informal (most keep their ballcaps on). Locals return often for the huge portions.

I have always loved this place. You see the same staff year after year which means it's not only a great place to eat but must be a great place to work. Hey, they take credit cards now too! Try the tenderloin and crabcake special. Best around!

A bit crowded but what do you expect for a bar. The meals are wonderful and so is the selection. The waitstaff are friendly and the atmosphere is energized.

This is a bar restaurant, so don't go there expecting a fancy place. However if you want fantastic food, (a Ham steak the size of a dinner plate), and can put up with a little noise, COME HERE!! Food is always excellent, service can be spotty, but this is a bar! Crowd is generally mixed, with families, and other groups. But let me say it again, the food is worth what little aggravation you MIGHT encounter.

Been there once, waited and waited to be seated, finally after making our way through the crowd we were seated. Then we waited and waited for our waitress, finally got our order in. So while we sat and waited for our order we were getting knocked and said excused to so many times that i lost count. The only bright part was the food.........great food!!! But after all id been through waiting for it, man i just don't know. It was a nice place but service was a little on the poor side, food was great though. Haven't been back since.

The Steaks are not only huge but so tender they ment in your mouth and the stawberries that they give you after the meal in the evening are the the topper to the great meals they server here.

Went for weekday lunch - hamburger tasted funny. I was surprised, as this restaurant enjoys a large local following who swear by it.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Portions are legendary as being large. The place is run down a bit, but you'll have a hard time finding food this good at these prices. Good service too.
