This 50's-style diner is attractive inside and out. Burgers, fries and shakes are avaialble, as are chicken sandwiches (they're deliciously marinated), hot dogs and blue plate specials of homestyle cooking. The desserts are quite good. The cobblers taste fresh, but the Haw River Mud Pie is amazing. The service here is usually pretty good, and food is served fairly fast. This is a nice restaurant for kids.

This is a great family atmosphere and a good place to get a fast meal. There is a wide variety of food choices and a good price. It is a one of a kind restaurant in this area, more like those up north. I have personally never had a bad experience at this restaurant.

Ate there one time only, glorified hamburger joint. Received poor service and cold fries. To be fair I know of others who enjoy the experiance.
