Located in Winston-Salem's historic West End district, the West
End Cafe offers casual elegant dining. A local favorite, the cafe specializes
in chili, sandwiches, soups, salads and evening gourmet specials.
Some vegetarian dishes. Great sweet tea (which is hard to find). My
favorites include the florentine grilled chicken sandwich, the grilled
chicken chop salad, grilled veggie pita, cheeseburgers, black bean
cakes, black bean burritos and any of their gourmet dinner specials.
Bar seating as well as table and booth. The restaurant is owned and operated
by Stacy Griffin, Rob Shay and David Martin. Limited seating for lunch
and dinnner, be sure to go early for lunch. Relaxing fish pond outside
while you wait on benches. Art for sale on the walls.
