Yes, this is a truckstop, and I don't drive a truck! =)

Although I stopped here for lunch one day, and was pleasantly
surprised.

Food was good and portions were enough to fill my big belly!
<br>
If you are passing through Emporia, VA stop here for lunch or dinner
if you are in a hurry and don't want a sit-down Shoney's
etc...

Food was excellent for a truck stop. Its not pretty inside and
the wait staff is slow at best but the food was good and cheap. They
have a small buffet for a few dollars. Has usual menu of chicken, potatoes,
fried shrimp, etc.

Yes, this place is a truck stop, but that's one of the great
things about it! I'm not a trucker, but I do a lot of traveling
and I came across this place on a recent trip through Emporia to
hit 85 and head down to Charlotte, NC. Of all the restaurants I
went to while in Charlotte, none of them compared to this little
place! You want good food and good folks to talk to, stop in. Whether
you live in Emporia or just passin' through, come check it
out!

The food is pretty decent. I actually came across it one Thanksgiving
evening...most of the restaurants were closed and my family
was out of town. I stopped there because as a rule truckers do eat
the best of home cooking when on the road.The food was good; very
much like the food I cooked at home. The atmosphere was very warm
and friendly, they treated me like one of the family. I must say
I truly enjoyed myself!
If ever you get hungry and you're almost near the Virginia border
stop by Sadler's its worth stopping for.

THE SERVICE AND FOOD AT THIS TRUCK STOP ARE EXCELLENT. THEY OFFER
A WIDE VARIETY MENU AND BUFFET. I HAVE VISITED SADLER'S MANY TIMES
AND PLAN TO GO BACK OFTEN.
