Have been to both Kuletos and McCormicks individually. Having dined
here was as good as their seperate entities. Would not go out of my way
as it is above-average in price.

I have eaten here several times and the food has always been good,
but the service has not. We have also given a couple rather large
parties here and the service and food during the parties was excellent.
I do agree with one of the other people here who wrote a review who
said the portions are not large like some other restaurants.
I had the crab cakes and three tiny little crab cakes were on a plate
with not much else, but they were very good. The salads are quite
good, as is any of the fresh fish, although, again, the portions
are not large, but average. It is not the place for a romantic date,
although the view can be spectacular, the noise level is high
no matter where you sit in this restaurant.

I've eaten at several of the McCormick establishments and
I have to say that this one is my preference. The menu is standard
at all the restaurants from what I recall, but the service at this
one appears to be much better than the others. Of course, the view
of the bay adds sauce to the goose, unless of course, there is some
big to-do down on the square which can be a bit of a distraction.

The only real problem is that this place is in San Francisco. Watch
what you step in! That WAS NOT made by a dog!

I would not consider returning to this restaurant unless I was
by myself and had good earplugs with me. I'd tell you about the
food but you wouldn't be able to hear me!

I was surprised to see the negative comments regarding this
restaurant. I have eaten there many times and have always had
a
great table, good service and great food. I love the view and
consider it one of my favorite places to eat in SF.

Not as bad as it has been made out to be, but there are better alternatives.
The place is touristy and there are better views of the bay, but
if you get a good table and an entertaining waiter, as I have, it
can make a very pleasant dining experience. the appetizers are
great.

I really like the atmosphere of this restaurant. It doesn't matter
if its a casual lunch or a fancy dinner, I always feel comfortable
at the restaurant. The view is wonderful, the service has always
been great. The food is never a disappointment. The one thing
I really like about their menu is the variety. Even though it is
a seafood restaurant, I recommend it anyone who likes good food.
My husband is not fond of seafood and he loves the place still.
Be sure to make reservations.

Must take exception with the nay-sayers about M&K's seafood
restaurant.
The many times my husband and I have eaten there, either at the
oyster bar up stairs, or on the main floor
with a window seat, the food is fantastically fresh, the service
has been
excellent, and no problems with our reservations.
I lik it so much I convinced my law firm to have their client party
there -- what a great
success story that was. The shrimp and oysters flowed like water.
A bit on the expensive side, but you don't go there in jeans and
expect to eat on a five dollar budget. This is one of the high class
rstaurants
in San Francisco and well worth saving up for.
