Are you kidding me when it comes to going to Joe's Cable Car? Where are the Although there might be friendly service, their ketchup and mustard is so disguisting. The time I went there, the waitress was openly cleaning the ketchup and mustard with a dirty rag. Their milkshake makers and there were terribly unclean and after the waitress cleared the other table, she didnt even wash her hands!!

this is a great new place for a drink. the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. the deserts are great too. the apple dumplings are awesome but very filling. i definatley recomend this place they next time you go out for dinner or just for a drink.

Great Waffles, pancakes, and the wait staff makes sure you have enough coffee. Great place to go to have an informal meeting over breakfast. Peak times, of course, mean long waits in line to be seated, so go at other times.

Joe's place is a gem as noted by previous reviews. There is pride of ownership, welcoming attitude of all staff, and the burgers are of high quality. I'm actually hung up on price. Weighing all the various factors, I think it is fair to pay $6-$7 for a burger but you will be hard pressed to get out for less than $10. The location does seem to be in a high rent district. Also, I miss the open pit BBQ flavor of other burger joints. <br> As you get towards $10-$15 for a meal, the value offered by other competitors becomes too compelling; a fancy restaurant can serve up a very tasty burger in a nice environment. Also, being in the Misson, think about what kinds of meats you can get at a local tacqueria. Anyway, if you have a hankering for a hamburger, patronize Joe's or pick up a burger at Postrio with a Gin-n-Tonic.
