Very good diner, like to go here when the tourists have swamped our local restaurants on the weekends. My favorites are the Open faced sandwiches with real mashed potatoes. Excellent, tastes like homemade (for those of us who still do cook) comfort foods at reasonable prices.

BEEN GOING HERE SINCE I WAS A CHILD. THEY MAKE THE BEST FRENCH FRIES AND HOT ROASTBEEF SANDWICHES AROUND THIS SIDE OF PA. THE SERVICE IS FAST. AND THERE IS ALWAYS A FRIEND THERE TO TALK TO. THIS DINER WAS ON PBS CALLED "DINERS" WOW THIS SAYS ALOT!! HOW MANY OTHER PLACES CAN SAY THEY WERE SHOWN ON A TV SHOW THAT WENT ALL OVER THE U.S? HERES TO YOU BOWMANSTOWN DINER YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE MY VOTE!!!
