Okay, I am a truck driver from Michigan that goes out to eat pretty much
every night of the week.My truck broke down the other night and I had
to check into a hotel here in Bedford, Pa. Well Ed's Steak House
Restaurant just happened to be right next door.I went in there my first
night in town. I ended up ordering a Rib steak, let me tell you, it was
outstanding, it came out cooked exactly the way that I ordered it.The
server was kind and very assertive.I enjoyed this place and decided
to go back two days later when I figured out that they open up at 7 a.m.
and serve breakfast as well.Again, Outstanding.

Easy find off the highway. Delicious prime rib. Friendly staff. The
bread they give you is always hot and fresh out of the oven.

Food is excellent! The texture of their steaks are wonderful, like
eating a piece of bread. Service could use some improvement.

After picking up the car in the Port of Baltimore, MD, I ended up
in Bedford, exhausted, hot and fairly hungry. After locating
my hotel for the night, I found I was near Ed's and decided this
was better than nothing, so I tried it out. I'm very glad I did.
I was first put off by the crowd, but was seated immediately in
the non-smoking section --- and I never detected smoke the entire
time I was there. Since I was travelling alone, I tried the garlic
steak with a baked potato and a plain no-frills salad. Wow. I'm
sure I still stink from that garlic! I just about inhaled my portion
and would have had dessert, but I was too full. The service was
friendly and fast, and had to be, judging by the crowd. The public
consisted of locals and those passing through this otherwise
kind of crummy PA town. Judging by the numbers of kids, it's a pretty
family-friendly restaurant, too. If I'm ever back in this area
(though I can't imagine why I'd be!), I will definitely check

If you love steak, this is the place to go. I take my husband there
for his birthday. Atmosphere is good and don't forget to add onion
rings. We are never disappointed. Service is good and courteous.
Place is also clean. We have never had to wait but usually go during
the week.

Ed's has the best steak in Bedford---bar none.
Tender and juicy with a big baked potatoe, corn, and rolls.
10.95 and up you just can't get 'em any better.
Excellant service and plenty of room adds lots to the menu.
Try Ed's .
