great food and servers will give you all the little history and
other info on certain dishes and the resturant itself. Well worth
the trip and the bill.

Small work lunch sort of place not hung up on ambience but just
great food. When short on time, just take any of their lunch specials
and you cannot go wrong.

My favorite dish at Thai Orchid is Pad Thai (Thai rice noodles
sauteed with prawns, egg, tofu, bean sprout, green onion, and
ground peanut). Yellow Curry (chicken, potatoes, carrot, opion,
and coconut milk) is also excellent. Service is very good. Small
family atmosphere.

I often go there. Very good food and not expensive.I like their prawn red curry, green curry, and yellow curry. Also their cashew chicken, basil chicken, BBQ chicken.Spicy spaghetti is my favorite, too.Their spiciness changes day by day. Be careful.

Small place with decent service and very good food. Just
a note of caution -- their "medium hot" was my "hot". When I did
ask them to make something "hot", I had smoke coming out of my ears.
If you like seafood, go for the squid with sweet basil. Also try
their soups with vegetables and coconut milk. Very aromatic.

I have been for lunch several times. Go early or late but if you
go at lunch you will have to wait. I love their Pad Thai!

Good food, low price. All the dishes I've had there have been
pretty good. I recommend the basil chicken and a dish whose
name I can't recall---it's made with flat chow fun noodles, a
dark sauce, and your choice of meat (chicken, beef, pork).
The majority of the lunch specials are $4.95; quite a good value.
Make sure you ask for spiciness if you want it.
A word of warning: this place and the surrounding parking
lot are PACKED at lunchtime. Reminds me of San Francisco. If
you arrive in the lot between 12 or 1, you could be in for a
wait for parking and again for a table, maybe about 15-30
minutes total.

Wow. I would have rated it 5 stars, but it's a bit small,
tables too close. This is the BEST Thai restaurant I've
found. We ordered Basil Prawn. It was very good, fresh
shrimp, fresh veggies, ordered it medium spiced, and it
came just that way, very good sauce, almost oil free.
We ordered Bamboo Chicken, medium spiced. It came VERY
spicy, but the quality of the chicken, all white meat,
no skin, fat, gristle, or bone, the tender bamboo, and
fresh spicy sauce made us happy, although teary-eyed.
It was free of grease, and so good, we finished every
drop, with plenty of white rice and Thai beer.
(By the way, they give you a lot of rice, a plus.)
We ordered cashew chicken to go, and alas, it wasn't
quite as good. While the chicken was the same ideal
quality, it was a bit oily, like most Thai restarants.
Still, it was better than most, so it rates a plus.
Maybe since we ordered it to go, close to closing,
they hurried. We ordered it not too spicy, and it
was lacking spice at all, mild a ...
