My husband had a hunter chicken dish and I had braised lamb shanks. I
must admit that they were wonderful.
I don't think the ambience matches the price but we had a very enjoyable
meal.
The soup/salad bar is forgetable.

We went to Goldberries for the first time on April 30 '05 for
my birthday dinner. We are VERY disappointed with the quality
of the meal. The veal cutlet my husband received on his plate was
greasy and unappetizing and my veal marsala wasn't tasty
either. Even the baked potato left alot to be desired. We certainly
did not get our money worth and the food was mediocre at best. Our
recommendation would be to skip this restaurant while in Lake
Placid!

The food is great. The prices are a little high but the food makes
up for it. The prime rib is out of this world. The service is great
and the atmosphere is too.
