Keep this in mind next time you go to this restaurant. My daughter is sixteen years old. Yesterday she was quite excited when she was hired on the spot to come into work the following day. Today she worked for three and half hours as a "trainee" bringing drinks to the patrons and setting up tables. At the end of the night the manager said that "trainees" were unpaid and refused to pay her anything for the time that she worked. What sleeze balls! It used to be that a kid could get valuable training in the atmosphere of a family restaurant. Please don't patronize this restaurant if you support fair employers that don't try to exploit young women.

An excellent diner. If diner food is what you like, this is a great place for you. Great burgers...All food is fresh and of good quality. Try the French Onion soup.

I go to the East Bay Diner every week. The burgers are great! I like mine rare and know the meat is top quality. The service is the best with employees who are very friendly. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
