Really nice. While sitting shiva friends went out of their way to go to Bruce's. They brought back 2 different mini cakes that were sugar free. If my Dad ever had these to eat, he'd still be here, it was that good. Normally, I don't eat any cake because you still get the carbs that turn into sugar, but this was worth it. A treat like this I haven't had in 4 years! They also got a regular cake, which I believe I was told was an apple based cake.

I'm reviewing something specific. I'm diabetic and my dad recently passed away. While sitting shiva friends went out of their way to go to Bruce's. bruce's is very expensive as is the case for a wealthy town like great neck with its rich clientele, but their stuff is quality. the ruggala, i really screwed up the spelling on this... is great. cheesecake awesome. not as good as chalet further up north on middle neck by the high school...but fine eats nonetheless.

Oh, before you even get started here, they give you a basket of fresh baked muffins, bread and brownies. I love this place. It has probably one of the best brunches in the area. I suggest the eggs benedict for breakfast, you cannot go wrong!!! Get some onion rolls to go when you leave, theyre soooo good!!!
