My wife ordered the buffalo shrimp, expecting breaded and frozen shrimp. Instead, she got fresh shrimp in a beautiful true buffalo sauce. Cornbread and hush puppies hot and fresh, no grease. Bacon and Cheddar burgers were so good, I didn't want to put ketchup on them. And to top it all off, the waiter was articulate and sincere; he was polite enough to wait for my wife and I to share a moment, but made sure we got what ever we needed. As far as my taste buds are concerned, there are no negatives here.

Food is great. Atmosphere for dining is not the best, it is more of a place to hang out and drink. The BBQ style is wonderful. I really liked the mashed potatoes and cornbread! Very authentic. I would recommend this place for 20-30 year olds who are out for the evening to have fun and have an interesting meal.

A nice, small restaurant in a cool part of town. The chicken is, of course, excellent. A great place to take a date.

This easygoing NoHo joint is divey in a pleasing way, with a good-natured staff, a Louisiana roadhouse theme, and the comfortable ambience of a well-worn neighborhood favorite. Acme serves up heaping platters of Southern home cooking and barbecue, including po' boys, boiled crawfish, jambalaya, seafood gumbo, thick-cut pork chops, chicken-fried steak, and baby back ribs -- not gourmet grub, but good, cheap, filling

Cheap and good. Not necessarily a great place for a date, but it's usually bustling, they have a zillion kinds of hot sauce, and the crowd is reasonably young and hip....
