An excellent steakhouse. Being a franchise, it's experience
is somewhat diluted (they have a steakhouse in several large cities
including Washington D.C., New Orleans, Las Vegas, and others). Steak
is not on par with Peter Lugers, Sparks or Del Frisco's but is very
good, and they have an excellent wine list. For fun, try their huge lobsters
- you definitely attract attention when you order a 5 lb lobster at a
steakhouse!

Morton's is one of the best Steakhouse's in the city! Excellent
service. Not cheap. But definitely worth it. A great experience.

Top Drawer service and perfectly prepared meals! Definately worth
the price. More food than you can possibly consume in a VERY eletgant
ambiance. A MUST dine in Manhattan! Great for special ocassions!

Morton's may not be the best steakhouse in New York City,
but it
consistently delivers perhaps the best steakhouse experience
in New York City. (I have to admit, it helps to be on their "preferred
customer" list. And, if you do get on that list, you will
have a
great experience at ANY Morton's.) If you can snag a booth,
order
yourself a good bottle of wine, have an appetizer and then dig
into an excellent steak. You can find steakhouses with a better
wine list (Sparks), better steaks (Peter Luger), but none with
a better combination of good food, good ambience and excellent
service. It isn't cheap, but you will get real value for your
dining
dollar here.

I am a steak lover. I say this place can be skipped dry steaks,
not the biggest either and their fries are weak. Had better at
Ihop.

Next to Peter Lugars, this is the place I go for an ultimate steak
experiemce. Their prime rib is awesome and their filet is incredible.
They have excellent appetizers and wine. To me, that is a total
experience. I also like the club like atmostphere at the downtown
location.

Expensive for what its worth. Steaks come burnt. Not a good choice
if you want a fine, juicy steak.
