This is our favorite place in Toms River. Palumbo's has great food, reasonable prices and great staff. We go there often and always have a great meal.

It is the versatility of this place that is great. So many Italian places today are either second rate pizza places, or the other extreme, fussy, pretentious, culinary school productions, serving the "trend-of-the-moment" (with prices to match)! Ok, sometimes you're feeling like tying something different, but sometimes you're just in the mood for a REALLY good Lasaga, or a good basic, homestyle plate of spaghetti! Pasquale's Dining Room at Palumbo's does a good job at BOTH. And they do the old country, peasant-type dishes some of us who happen to BE Italian grew up on and rarely see anymore, unless we take the time to make them ourselves...Why Bother? Pasquale is there!!!

For the money one of the best family style Italian restaurants in Ocean County. Absolutely the best marinara sauce at any Italian restaurant that I have eaten in. There are daily specials prepared by Pasquale the owner and chef. He is a great cook and is always open to new suggestions for new dishes to be added to the menu. Make this restaurant a regular stop and you will never be sorry.
