Great place if you don't mind a lot of people and noise. It all adds to the atmosphere of a good pub. The food is great, especially the hamburgers and sandwiches (try the BLTA - excellent). Great variety of beers to choose from as well as non-alcoholic drinks. I have not had a problem with service, even on busy lunch days - can't say about dinner, haven't tried it for dinner. If you get ther about 11:45, before the big lunch rush, you'll have your choice of seats and get you meal quickly.

This is definitely a pub. It's really a bar with tables. The food is upscale for a bar. When busy it can be pretty noisy and the service can be slow. If it's warm, try to get a table on the sidewalk. The burgers here are very good. The beef is pretty high quality and they don't overcook them. The bun is a good chewy roll instead of just a toasted wonderbread bun. The fries are outstanding. They are truly wedge-cut potatoes and they put fresh shredded parmesan cheese on them. Mmmm. If you're looking for a place to hang out and talk while you eat, then this is a good choice.

Excellent selection of brews. Good food. Terrible service. Been there three times and the first time service was marginal, second time, was close to serve yourself(thought that perhaps it was just a bad staffing night.), third time, it was serve yourself. If your looking for a place to have some good beer and hang with your buddies, this is the place. If you want to take a date or client, think twice.

Great burgers (cooked by someone who actually knows the meaning of "medium rare") and wedge cut fries. Also try the stuffed jalapenos. Very nice for a sunny weekend afternoon on a sidewalk table for a relaxed casual meal.

This place has about 25 different beers to choose from -- including imports. I have only been here once with a bunch from work, but the eggplant sandwich was really great. The palce is extremely crowded, but it was still a fun time. If your out looking for a good time and not looking for the ultimate San Francisco dining experience then you can't go wrong here. No pretense of being something it's not, but what it is is a fun time!

One of my hometown favorites. Great fries. Eggplant sandwich, turkey burger, calamari all standouts. Always enjoy picking a selection from the beer list. Interesting decor. Definitely one of the highlights along Broadway in Redwood City.

Generally a nice place to have lunch---esp, out on the sidwalk tables on a sunny day. The atmosphere is the high point. Food for lunch is good. Fries, very good. Haven't eaten dinner here yet. Service was ok. An interesting, trendy setting---worth a try.
