The Alpine Garden, or Rosotti's, or "Zot's" is the best at what it is; a somewhat seedy, greasy, cold beer on a hot day kind of place where you can carve your name on the table and come back in ten years to find it. The place goes back to the 1850's I'm pretty sure and the hitching rail out front still harbors the occasional pony. This is where the old Californio's came to nurse their sorrow about loosing their Spanish land-grants after California joined the good old US of A. That dirt in the garden has soaked up more beer than most Stanford frat house carpets. Almost.

One of the oldest, casual hang outs for locals. Sometimes loud and raucous, sometimes mellow...good burgers and fries. The healthiest thing offered is the wine and beer!

I found the food a little too greasy, and the salads made with a lot of regatta cheese. Ify our into salty, and cheesy foods you'll like it here. Make sure you aren't on a diet!

Hey, this is THE beer garden! It's also known as 'Rosotti's'. It's and old character filled 'dive. The summers you can sit out back on the picnic tables(can be alittle dusty). The hamburgers are greasy but good!! Not a healthy place---but then, it's the place to go for a people watching, warm afternoon. You won't forget this place soon ......try it at least once.....you'll like it.
