This was recommended by a couple people and finally had a chance to go. Selection is huge, but that is about it. How hard is it to make eggs, pancakes, toast? Not very hard, I can tell you that. It's average food with nice size portions. Nice = not too little and not too much. I think it's the location location location that makes this place popular.

I've been to UPD almost every weekend since I found it several months ago. It's friendly service, huge selection of food, generous portion and resonable price make us go back again and again. I like their prime ribs and seafood dishes especially. The other thing I like is that the waiters/waitresslook happy. It's really hard to find a restaurant with nice food but without the NYC attitude in the metro...

This place is fabulous! The food is always great, whatever you order. And the choices - OMG!!! The menu is like an encyclopedia of anything you could ever want to eat - It just goes on and on and on.... The atmosphere, the service and the vibe from this place is great too! And they have super drinks --> Try a Mojito - yummy:)

I worked at this diner for 4 years and now when i come home from florida they first stop i make on the way home from the airport is upd! it is by far the best diner i have ever eaten at. the greek salad is out of this world. Try the chicken and shrimp fajitas too! they are my favorite! Hi nick and pete! miss everyone <333

I've lived in Union all my life and for some reason had never had the pleasure of eating Union Diner until this past weekend. I will tell you it it NOT a place to be overlooked! For the money that you would pay to eat at any of the dozen or so places on Rt.22 the Union Diner should definitely be your 1st choice. The food, service, and atmosphere they offer is worth way more than the prices they charge. Enjoy yourself, family, friends and a FANTASTIC at Union Plaza Diner, it is by far not just your everyday diner.

The Union Plaza Diner is by far the best diner...The food is GREAT and the service there is really good. They also have so much to offer in their enourmous menu. And if you come between the hours of 11am and 3pm...they have a Lunch Special were a drink, cup of soup, dessert, and a meal is all included for one low price. Not to forget the soup...one of the finest...there Cream of Broccoli, Cream of Potato, and Matzo Ball have to be the best!!! You really should check it out for your selves.
