I was very surprised when I walked into this restaurant. Doesn't
look like anything much from the outside but that story changes when
you walk in. Great atmosphere, beautiful rooms. The prices are a little
steep, with pastas in the 20's range and meats in the 30's.
However, the portions are HUGE. I ordered an appetizer and i was already
stuffed. Be careful when you order from the "specials".
Prices are significantly more expensive than anything that's
listed on the menu.
I love that this place is BYOB. Service is awesome. Great place to go.

Great for lunch, too! Try "Carlo's special"
sandwich OR check out the specials. The Italian Chef's salad
is a Mediterranean spin on an old lunch favorite. Highly recommended!

Class place. The food, especially the salads are excellent.
Although a bit expensive if you want great presentation, good
food in an upscale atmosphere close to home -- Arugula will work.

We absolutely LOVE this restaurant which is situated in the heart
of South Orange. The food is wonderful, the presentation is devine.
Many dishes are unusual. Example: we have had kangaroo as an appetizer
(no, it doesn't taste like chicken). There's something for everyone.
Grand salads, wonderful fish dishes, terrific pastas, INCREDIBLE
desserts (we like to order the homemade gellato---my favorite
is the hazelnut).
Reservations are definitely suggested, particularly on weekends.
Dress is casual, but nice. They don't have a liquor license, so
bring your own wine. The last time we had dinner at this restaurant
(there were five of us) we really pigged out, ordering appetizers,
salads, entrees and dessert. The check totaled $250.00 and with
tip, it ended up being a $300 evening. This check was really out
of the ordinary. Generally you can count on $40.00 or so per person
(plus tip), for appetizer, main course, dessert and coffee.
