The Ritz Diner is famous in this area, and personally I don''t
know why. It's a diner, not any better than any diners I've been
to in the past. I've been to the Ritz several times, since diners
are scarce in this area, but my expectations have not been high.
Each time I felt that it was average. Average food, average service.

it's a teen hangout with nothing special to offer. other than
late hours, i'd rather go somewhere else.

Yuck! I have had only one edible meal at this diner, and that's
the turkey salad. Sure, they give you a ton of food, but it is consistently
terrible. The diner is full of teenagers morning, noon and night,
and the service is slow. Why this place is so busy is beyond me.
Double yuck!

My husband has been going to "the diner" practically his whole
life. This is how we refer to the ritz, probably because it's the
only diner that we will go to. The ritz has a big variety to choose
from. You can order their german apple pancake which takes up
the entire plate, or you can dig your teeth into a juicy burger,
and for those who are more refined you can order any kind of francese.
The ritz also offers daily specials which include soup and salad
and overwhlmin portions. Everyone is partial to something at
the ritz, I am partial to their pea soup their raisin challah and
of course their sliced steak platter ans also their spanish chicken.
And if that's not enough for you then order up their famous apple
pie, the best we've ever had. The ritz is more than just a diner.

This place is a hoot! Always crowded, always bustling. The Livingston
crowd are here in droves, and if you are a fashion watcher, you
can always get a glimpse of the latest styles. The women (and men)
are dressed in the best of casual chic.
The food is served in overflow portions. Come with a huge appetite.
Don't forget...this is a diner...the food is not gourmet. But
the food is absolutely reliable.
My favorite meal is breakfast. Breakfast would be perfect if
I had the courage to order of the dessert from the cake display.
But alas, I leave the dessert for the evening meal (when I certainly
enjoy the cheese cake). Right across the street from the Livingston movie
theater. Great place for coffee and cake following the flicks.
