The glowing review above and the one in the Frommer's guidebook
for Maui are somewhat mystifying given that this is a completely
overpriced Italian place with completely average food. I can
get better spaghetti sauce from a can than what my husband had
on his pasta here, and my pizza, while fine, was not worth the $16
price tag. I think one should generally be suspicious of a place
that purports to be all things to all people -- nightclub, bar,
restaurant and deli -- as Casanova does. We weren't there for
the music, so I can't judge the social scene it's supposedly known
for, but you should definitely eat somewhere else if you know
what good Italian food is & are looking for something in that line.
