What an experience! We had an incredible sunset veiw! The entire
dining experience couldn't have been better! The presentation
and choices were superb!
If you're in the Poipu area, as must stop is the Beach House.
From fabulous sunsets to stunningly delectable meals, this
place really provides the setting for a wonderful event. Make
your reservations early as this place is always tough to get a
table.

Go to the Beach House for the fabulous sunsets (the best in all
Kauai)...but better yet go for the food. We went to Roy's....Casa
de Amici....the Kiahuna Plantation....and of course Brennecke's....none
could touch the Beach House for setting or food quality. We went
there three times during our two week stay and every dish was creative
and well executed. I was really surprised by the Local Boys Paella...think
Spanish paella with a Chinese twist...had two special treatments
on local fish (Ono and Opakapaka) which were delightful....for
dessert...don't bother with anything other than the Bananas
Foster....its a great New Orleans dish served here with an aloha
flavor (macadamia nuts with the bananas)...its a big dish so
order one and share it. While you are waiting for your dinner to
arrive (go ahead and order pupus) you can watch the surfers catching
waves right out the window on your left...its a great ending for
any day on Kauai.
