Alexanders Fish and Chips is definitely a family owned bussiness.
The owner does keep it real and he has a wonderful wife. This is definitely my favorite place for seafood in Kihei. I don't care where you've been, but you have not had battered fish 'till you have had it at Alexander's Fish and Chips.
You can't find a better, fried calamari on the Island. Yes the Ahi is 'da bomb, BOOOOOOMMMM!!!! But you must have the ono. As they say in Hawaii, "it broke 'da mouth".
I also don't know of anywhere else in Kihei to get that ever
so ono deep fried Ahi. Even if not the only, it is the best fish and
chips on Maui! At Alexanders Fish and Chips you have a choice of
3 types prepared 3 different ways, ribs, shrimp, coleslaw, mac
salads and potatoe salad. Do try their tartar sauce. Alexanders'
Fish and Chips in Kihei on Maui is an excellent value. Probably
the most affordable seafood in Kihei. It is family owned and family
oriented. The dining is very casual and it's outside. Alexanders'
Fish and Chips is Not the cleanest of eating places. The tables
and chairs are sticky. There is crud everywhere. You may even
see some drinks on the floor so the food is definitely best "to
go", but located Right on the main street in town, which
is South Kihei Road, why would you want to eat there? You have the
beautiful beaches and grass of the kams right across the street.
Kudos to Alexanders' Fish and Chips for making the best value
and best tasting and best quality battered delights in Kihei.
