Visited summer of 07.... "cafe" thought i could get a decent
family style snack ( lunch time) ffor 10- 12.00 right? wrong! On a chalk
board specials had lentil soup and a wrap( turkey).. My wife and I ordered
the wraps 9.95 each, cold reheated turkey can be awful! we also took
in the special soup and to our surprise that was an extra 5.50 ... I've
spent 100's of dollars on a regular basis for meals but I have regretted
stepping in to this place and hopefully writing this review will help
me and others Thank you..

Have enjoyed Pauline's Cafe for years and never recall a disappointing
dining experience at this very fine restaurant. The chef is imaginative,
the food freshly prepared and the use of Vermont products impressive.
The atmosphere is comfortable and well trained staff add to the
fine dining experience.
In the 1980's there was a wine tasting dinner that I have never
forgotten.
I now reside in Florida, but when in Vermont I make it a point to
visit Pauline's.
Try the crabcakes, Chicken Shelburne, bananas foster. You will
love this place.

strives for freshest ingredients but sometimes comes up short.
Innovative menu---most times it works but...
Atmosphere either quaint or crowded.
