The very best ice cream ever. We drive 2 hours just to have some. Prices are great, portions are large and staff is very nice will answer all your questions about what is in the mixes, oh and a great variety of choices - so many you need to pick two different kinds on a 2 scoop - yummmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!! I wish a could find there web site though and maybe have some shipped to CT.?????

Good desserts and great shakes. Food is pub-fare and pretty good. The service is good and the place is clean and modern. Great spot for lunch or ice cream in an area that is very short of good places to eat.

Shain's is my favorite place to go whenever I'm in the area. The food is good, and the people are friendly. The ice cream is to die for! If you are in Sanford you MUST go to Shane's for the ice cream, if nothing else. It is the only place I can find decent ginger ice cream. Their's is terrific! (The other flavors are also superb and the sundaes are incredible) Shane's also hosts a farmer's market and small candy shop. FYI

Shain's restaurant is located out of town and is a wonderful place to go for take out or take out ice cream made on the premises. Shain's is popular for their ice cream of so many flavors and is rich in taste. Their brownie ice cream contains good sized pieces of chewy soft brownie and it is my favored. The meals are okay and they are warm and served slow. All the waitstaff is slow. The food here is warm but never hot. Sometimes we send it back. We don't go here often because of the slow waitstaff. The breakfasts include pancakes, french toast, egg dishes and the usual fare with nothing special or different. The lunches here are soups, salads, and sandwiches with a few entrees. The soups are good here but again just warm. The sandwiches are large and filling; nothing new or special here either. The night brings more added entrees that are medium sized and they have no special things here either. It is an average restaurant that I would say is good but not be ... more
