Good food, a good atmosphere, and there is live entertainment in the bar at night. Been there several times.

Ate there as a business lunch. Very reasonable but average, non-descript lunch menu. Would probably enjoy the entire menu and dining experience @ dinner and late night when the music starts. Definitely would revisit this restaurant based on first impressions. Lots of potential.

Hazel Bates gave this restaurant one star. She must live in West Little Rock & prefer the "sick perfection" of chain restaurants, be it they have no class or character (& the food is typically prepared a thousand miles away in some warehouse production kitchen). Juanita's is a Little Rock icon & is untuchable in my eyes for what they have given & continue to give to the city of Little Rock. They are the anchor of a struggling, but up & coming neighborhood, they have the best Tex-Mex in Arkansas, & the Music scene is unmatched in the state.
I for one will always support a restaurant that has so consistantly supported Little Rock.

It's hard to judge this restaurant on their awsome tex-mex alone. They have a nationally famous Music scene that is terribly underappreciated by locals. I have lived in much bigger citys & rairly find a showcase room with such star packed NIGHTLY entertainment line-up. Let us all count our blessings & be thankful for Juanita's. Juanitas is one of those local spots that makes citys fun & interisting. I for one like to eat at unique locally ownes restaurants, not commercial chain carbon copys.
They have also improved their food & service 10 fold. Rumor has it that the new Chef & Managment are doing an awsome job of bringing back the old magic!

I ate there a number of times and found that the food was okay but nothing great. I found shrimp shells in my enchileda and they told me it was supposed to be there so they could tell when it was done???? Ok, would have been nice to have known before I bit into it. When I asked for something to replace it, they refused. Would not recommend

3 years ago I would have rated this a 5, but now I could only rate the resturant a 2 maybe a 1 1/2. Used to be my favorite mexican resturant, but they made changes for the worse. Could not recommend until they go back to the old juanitas.
