Overall the place is alright. I do think they fall behind on taste
compaired to other chain establishments. I am used to spicey
foods and I found theirs a bit bland.

I agree the waiting area is too small. I enjoy the salsa and chips.
They have several very good entrees. The only place I like better
in town is Felipe's.

The food would be a lot better if they knew how to make salsa. They
could really improve it if they took a lesson from Cholitas or
La Chinita.

I don't know why everyone is being so critical about this place.
I have friends that work there and I personally think that the
food is great there. I think the food is priced reasonable and
the food tastes great to me. As a matter of fact, I like to try new
things on the menu everytime because I know that I will enjoy eating
it no matter what it is. Maybe it is because i like mexican food
a lot. I will admit though, that the waiting area is a little cramped,
as they only have two little booths to sit on, and most people stand
outside to wait. But when it is really hot or freezing, then the
people won't wait out there and they will just eat somewhere else.
I guess that's the price you pay with a small building. Other than
that I like Carlos O Kelly's and the service isn't too slow when
they are not busy. The only time they are packed busy is after church
on Sundays, and that is because EVERYONE wants to eat there! They
do have limited space and that creates longer waiting lists.
But once you get in there and eat their food, you will definitely
come back for more.

This restaurant was good to eat at if you were not in a hurry. My
family went to eat there after church on a Sunday, and we waited
for over an hour to be seated. There is not much of a waiting room
to sit in. I found that the salsa was bland and tasted as if it was
watered down and had no seasoning in it. The pricing is somewhat
higher than I would like to pay for the amount of food I got. We ended
up going out for icecream afterwards.

Along with Connie's, this is my very favorite mexican restaurant.
The service is great. The food is wonderful and I always leave
full. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. I would definitely
recommend this restaurant to anyone. You may have to wait a while
to get in, but it is worth it!
