Family owned and operated .The most inviting and open place in memphis I love the curry tofu soup, and Saigon Le has the best. I also love the spring rolls stuffed with a variety of vegi's , Tofu, cilantro, served cold with spicy peanut sauce....or there is the saigon egg rolls served with frech mint and kudzu. The restaurant is elegant along with the service. There are plenty of other dishes other than the soup. Try the Lemongrass tofu for a wonderful palate of flavors , Tofu ona stick... Curried, BBq wheat gluten is on par with the best ive ever had Vegitarian dishes out the wazzu.. You name it you got it... Great french coffee. The family is very accomodating to all diets and restrictions. All dishes can be served to your liking of spice as well. Om Mani Padme Hum!!! The best there is Saigon Le'

This place is a favorite for many Memphians, and I think that this is only because there aren't really that many other Vietnamese options. The atmosphere in the restaurant is crowded and smoky, but the service is fast. The food isn't as spicy as it could be, and many of the dishes have some interesting (meaning bad) aftertastes. I prefer Jasmine up on Covington Pike. Give it a try before this place.

Saigon Le is an excellent change of pace from all of the endless Mexican, BBQ, Chicken, and Pizza joints around Memphis. I am already a big fan of Vietnamese food. I love seafood soup, and Saigon Le has a good one. I also love spring rolls stuffed with a variety of vegi's shrimp cilantro, served cold with spicy peanut sauce.... The restaurant is elegant along with the service. There are plenty of other dishes other than soup. Tons of egg rolls over vermicelli type dishes, chop suey... Vegitarian dishes.. You name it you got it... Great coffee as well. Some say Vietnames is something that one has to build up a taste for, maybe so... But thinking about how good the food is at Saigon Le I'm building up a taste to buy plane tickets half way accross the country to taste their savory fare again. SO GIVE IT A TRY!!!! EAT AT SAIGON LE'S
