Really excellent Ceasar salad and very yummy Cioppino. The wait
staff doesn't seem very friendly but they serve the bread
warm and the wine list compliments the menu nicely.

Still a crowd pleaser. Literally on the plaza so you can get up
from your table and walk 100 yards to the theater. Reservations
only for parties of 6 or more. Food is heavy (lots of cream sauces)
but well flavored. Lots of garlic, which is fine by me. They work
in local seafood (salmon, Oregon steam clams) on many of the dishes.
Not innovative, but delicious nonetheless.

Hay and Straw. Sounds like something from a stable. But, it is
a wonderful pasta dish prepared from "scratch" onsite. This
a place to take close friends who love good food and atmosphere.
Excellent wine selections. And, that wonderful Italian smell
of fresh grated cheese, yeasty bread and garlic. Mama Mia!

This is one of the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to -
the decor is classic, you're not sitting on top of each other,
the service is excellent, the bread hot when it gets to your table...All
pasta are fresh (try out the Salmon Ravioli - it is a delight !!!)
Pizzas are great too (espcially the spinach one)The house wine
is perfect...
Ideal for vegetarians and meat eaters - so no excuse for not taking
all your family and/or friends there...
