This is some of the best mexican in KC. There are a lot of competing resturaunts on the blvd, but mannys is above and beyond any of the others.

One of the better Mexican restaurants in the Kansas City area. The food is very good (I recommend ordering chicken instead of for the trditional entrees like tacos, burritos, enchiladas and the like), the service exceptional, while the ambience is admittedly hole-in-the-wallish. The chips and salsa are a real treat. This is probably my favorite mexican restaurant. Simply the best Mexican restaurant the Kansas City area.

KC is known for its mexican food, and this is no exception. You will not go away disappointed if you fill up here.

Above average Mexican food, but that isn't saying much. Yes, Mexicans are actually cooking, but that's true in almost EVERY restaurant in this city, and not just the Mexican ones. Moreover, those guys cooking are very rarely chefs and their mamas cooked every meal of their life before they started working in the restaurants. That being said, the real attraction here is the shredded pork entrees, such as burritos, often served with a green chile sauce. This is a flavor that is not terribly common among KC Mexican eateries, and keeps a lot of people coming back to this Slightly better than average restaurant.

This is great mexican food. You have to put the cheese dip on top of your burrito, it is awesome. It is well worth the wait to eat here.

This is good mexican and its on the blvd. which makes it a little better, but there are numerous better joints to stop into. The last time i was there it was so greasy it was almost unedible. The taco disintegrated in my hands. If you are in the mood for mexican travel a little farther to Ponak's

The pork burritos are what keeps me coming back, the main seating area is nice, but the "back area" is definitely lacking in atmosphere (by the bar). The only reason I don't go there more often is because the parking can get horrible once it gets busy (which is often lunch and dinner times). Good food, GREAT burritos!

This remains one of the most popular Mexican eateries in the KC area--and the food IS above average--but I consider it to be overrated. This was the restaurant I generally went to years ago whenever my appetite's compass pointed South. But a few years ago, I started looking for something better. It took a few tries, but I eventually found my idea of South-of-the-border heaven (Sol Azteca). I've only been back to Manny's once or twice since than and found it acceptable, but disappointing comparitively.

Very good Mexican food. It's always crowded, so get there early. The cheese dip is delicious. It's a 98 mile round trip for me, but well worth it.

Pretty good place for lunch but a little costly for dinner! Way too much lettuce for my taste, I don't believe they use this much in Mexico do they??? (If any)

A little bit high price wise but worth the money. A great variety of mexican food. Seemed to have a lot of lunch hour business types (that's why I was there). I'm told that It's a pretty busy place over the dinner hour as well.
