The atmophere is romantic and italian. The service is grate. The fresh ceasar salad (that is made from scratch right in front of your table) is the best that I have every tasted. The linguini with shrimp and vegitables was tasty and well seasoned. The drinks were great. Also the prices are reasonable. Yes the parking can be hectic, but it is located in a very popular shopping center were a lot of tourist go.

This restaurant is definitely in the wrong category...it is straight-foward Italian food. Good food, very good prices, excellent service. The decor and ambience is much higher than the prices on the menu and this is a wonderful place to take a date without bankrupting the wallet. Usually no waiting since they have a pretty large dining area and ask for a table by the window for a nice view of the pier.

Assagio is a pretty good little italian restaurant located in Hawaii Kai shopping center. I would not necessarily consider this a "hawaiian restaurant". The platters are of modest size and good to better than average quality. We usually get pasta entrees with shrimp, tasty. The deserts are very good. This would be a good dinner before or after catching a movie at the theater just across the way.
