An expensive restaurant that serves seafood. The location isn't
too great but its a good place for a special occasion.

Place is expensive. Its an okay place to eat at for some seafood.
I don't think its all that great and others have also agreed.
Its just pricey presents a high class ambiance.

I think the reviewers prior to me are underestimating the pricing.
This restaurant is pretty pricy. In fact, I am being very conservative
with my pricing. Be careful when you order the lobster by the lb.
I have known people ending up paying over $300 for a lobster plate
without being told that it would cost that much.
The food is excellent and the service is very good. The atmosphere
is one of the best in Honolulu. Highly recommend visiting this
restaurant.... just be careful of what you order. Check your
prices first.

When visitors come to Hawaii, they always expect lots of
restaurants with great seafood. Locals catch their own
seafood and cook it at home! Visitors go to John Dominis,
which has atmosphere, service, great food, and high prices.
You go once on your trip to Hawaii, or you go for REALLY
special occasions.

For a long time, this has been THE place to take someone you want
to impress. The atmosphere is elegant, luxurious. The wait staff
appears psychic at times, there with what you need right when
you need it. The food is delicious & beautiful. Its definately
a terrific place to take your spouse for a special anniversary
or birthday. Take alot of money, but be prepared for a lovely evening.

Expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Great atmosphere...tho you cannot believe that as you
turn off Ala Moana Blvd into the tuna packing area!
Good food, good service.

i don't know too much about the seafood, but the brunch is to die
for. this restaurant is stuck in the middle of a warehouse district
but once you get there, it is 5 stars! it's set right on the water
and you can sometimes see dolphins swimming. they have an omelette
bar, pasta bar, seafood bar plus lots more. it's endless. i gorge
myself on chocolate covered strawberries.
