Apparently appearance is important to the management at Leilani's.
So if you look like you have money, I'm sure you'll be treated
well. BUT, if perhaps you look a little different(tattoos, piercings),
expect to be discriminated against.

I enjoyed the shrimp and fish we had here. They had a huge desert but we
were to full to try it. Although it looked good.

Lunch relfected in pricing. Great location, good service, very
good food. Everything was prepared well, and the quality of the
food was notably good. Nicer then the surrounding competition.

Leilani's on the Beach is definitely one of those Maui do's.
I always would go here for a sunset dinner. It's view is awesome,
particularly whale season and the food is just spectacular.Reservations
help avoid a wait...but the wait is worth it.

Holy Cow!!!!!! And that's hard to milk. Leilani's on
the Beach is definitely one of those Maui do's. I always would
go here for a sunset dinner. It's view is awesome, particularly
whale season and the food is just spectacular. The surroundings
are a bit busy, but, the feast for the eyes and pallet allow room
for nothing else. The Opakapaka, (Red Snapper), is da bomb, BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!
as is the slalmon & as I believe they use Kula Produce, you
can't go wrong with the salad. Kula Onions, Kula Onions,
Kula Onions, mmmmmmmmm. Oh to really end it you must try HULA PIE!!!!!!
IT BROKE DA MOUTH!!!! I lived on Kihei side myself, so after sunset
on the way in I would stop by Front Street in Lahaina for some night
life.
Aloha to you all.

This is my favourite restaurant on the entire island. It has wonderful
unobstructed ocean views so try to go at sunset. The service is
good. The food is delicious. House specialty is the Opakapaka.
Their filet minion melts in your mouth. Each entree comes with
a delicious salad and warm sourdough bread. The hula pie is their
famous dessert. It is big enough for 2 or 3 or 4 so save room. Reservations
help avoid a wait...but the wait is worth it.

Enjoyed a marvelous and delicious dinner, music was a little
loud coming from down stairs, but nothing could detract from
the beautiful sunset. Service was more than supreme. We will
eat there on our next trip to Maui.

We loved this place so much we went back twice in two days. The food
was perfect and the portions were more than generous. They have
too many fish dishes to choose from. Any fish you could think of
in a various list of preparations. Don't leave without having
the HULA PIE! But share it -- it's huge.
