Offering a refreshing detour from "run of the mill" Mexican cuisine, La Bodega's entrees lean a bit more toward the Yuccatan, with dishes like the Chilles Rellenos which is made with beef, chicken, or cheese and walnuts, raisins & sour cream. They are simply divine if you can handle the calories. The Shrimp Enchiladas and the La Bodega Salad are also excellent. Their Sangria is worth mentioning as well, as it's some of the best I've had the pleasure to taste. They offer a full bar as well. The atmosphere has the feel of being in the interior of Mexico, with large, blown-up photos of Pancho Villa and his gang decorating the walls. I have never received inedible food or drink in the 25 years I've been dining here. They are also able to accommodate large or pre-planned large parties.
