Fish is the prime bait at this tony grill, which looks out over
Town Lake and the Congress Avenue Bridge, but in late spring through
early fall, bats run a close second. During this period, when
thousands of Mexican free-tailed bats emerge in unison from
under the bridge at dusk, patio tables for viewing the phenomenon
are at a premium.

I just went to shoreline grill and loved it! Our waiter was in no
way upity. He knew a lot about the menu and was helpful in deciding
what we should order. The appetizers and entrees were outstanding.
The presentation was close to art! The atmosphere was wonderful
and we truely had a wonderful time. However I do agree with the
complaint about desert. The portions are small, so maybe order
two appetizers and don't save room for desert!

Shoreline Grill is an upscale place. THe food is gourmet (and
some of the staff seems to think they are quite fancy to0- but our
waiter was friendly and helful) I enjoyed my lobster entree.
The creme brulee was also good (I would have liked a larger portion
and maybe the addition of a few berries or a fruit sauce)
