I ordered chicken enchilidas and the chicken looked gross. I expressed
this to the waiter; she was very apologetic. The bigger issued occurred
when the check came and my meal was still on the ticket. The cashier,
which I believe to be the owner, refused to take the meal off the ticket,
stating "I'm not going to take this off just because you didn't
eat it'. This is poor customer service. I refused to go back. After
about seven years, I recently decided to give it a second chance. Within
one minute, I remembered why I hate this place. We had a party of ten;
me being the tenth person to arrive. The hostess refused to sit the first
nine guests b/c the whole party wasn't present. I could understand
if only half the party had arrived, but this was ridiculous. The waitress
assumed since the gratuity would be included on our ticket she didn't
have to fill our drinks regularly. Twice, at least half our party's
drinks were completely empty. We were there celebrating ...

Kiko's is the epitome of mediocrity and it amazes me that people
still continue to eat at this place. The food is painfully mediocre,
but most importantly, it's NOT AUTHENTIC Mexican food. They use
provolone cheese on their enchiladas for crying out loud! If you want
real Mexican food go to La Playa.

Average Mexican food. There is nothing that really hits that "authentic"
spot here at Kiko's.
This is a very "Tex-Mex" style of food, and you get allot
for your buck. Value wise the food is worth the price for the quantity
that you get. Expect to wait in line every time you go here, and if you
don't wait in line consider it a lucky night for you.
This place is usually packed, and is a usuall spot where locals bring
their out of town guests.
With Corpus being a Hispanic Majority city you would expect better
mexican food in the area, but this "Tex-Mex" stop takes
the winner by many people for best Mexican food in the Corpus area.

Portions are huge. Wait might be awhile, but you will go away stuffed
and happy.
I loved their refried beans...there was something incredible and
nutty about them.
Every dish was always excellent. Go!

SO good and SO cheap. We looooove Kiko's! Check it out, but be warned
to go early or have to wait quite a bit for a table, even at lunch time.

The enchiladas are superb and the chips
before dinner are fresh and delicious. Definitely the best example
of a "Mexican Food Restaurant" in
Corpus I usually have their Carne Asada -- which is prepared very
well-- Fajitas are good too

Kiko's is definitely not the best Mexican food in town, but is
good. It is a clean, fun, family atmosphere. A warning though:
the owner runs the cash register, and he's not a very cordial man.

This place is WAAAAAAAAAAAY overpriced and overrated. The food
is appealing to those who have NO IDEA was TexMex Mexican food
can and should taste like. Avoid this place and go to the REAL places
on the west side!!!!

I don't know where Chuck W. learned how to Rate a Dinning Experience?
Keep trying Chuck W. I tried this resturant on several occasions
a Dr. I know likes it and I can't understand WHY.
The Food is a Little better than TACO Bell and it was a Nice Place,
clean, Good atmosphere of a Mexican Restaurant. But as Chuck
said, The waiters had a Negative Attitude and the waitress weren't
much better.
Which drops there Rating. I'd give this Place A Low 2.
