My first time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was okay. Noise level a bit loud. I couldn't here the live piano music in the background. Food was wonderful. My friend had the ribs and it was out of this world-not greasy. I had the salmon special, it was a little overdone, but it was good. I gave MacArthur Park 4 Star rating because of their dessert. Best Turtle Pie I have ever had, absolutely sinful!!!

I went to this restaurant for lunch with a group of business associates. The service was terrible. The waiter lost then mixed up our orders. I thought the selections on the menu was far too complicated and overpriced. I ordered a steak sandwich which was served on white thin-sliced bread and the meat was cold. There were no condiments with this selection. EVerything was also overpriced. The sizes of the servings were quite large which is not good at lunchtime. I would probably never go back there.

Incredibly bad service, and bad food as well. There is no reason at all to eat here with all the interesting, quality option available just blocks away in Palo Alto! Pretentious, obnoxious wait staff, and an unimpressive interior.

After 12:30 lunch was good. The seafood salid on the summer menue was very good. Squid was done just right. My Friend had the Thai salid and it was likewise good. As we were have a business lunch, I observed that servers were helpful but left us to do our business. I recommend this place for a late lunch. Regular lunch could be crowded and noisy.

I like there onion soup and there steak sandwich. I sometimes go alone and enjoy the drawing with crayons. I like the building, and the warmth of the place. I like its style.

The catering has been good, nothing fancy but certainly competent. The restaurant: uninspired. Everything was okay but with so many good restaurants around, why eat here?
