When I came to this place for the first time I was blown away. They have
a great menu and the food is great. I tried frog legs for the first time
here and they were wonderful.

Husband took me on our very first date and we recently celebrated 17
years of marriage at the Texan. Same great food - it's good to know
that some things never change! Highly recommend.

The Texan is a long lived establishment in the heart of the Southside.
From Jumbo Shrimp to Chicken Fried Steak, everyone in the family
is sure to be satisfied. Frog Legs are one their unique dishes
for $10.99. Most items on the lunch menu under $5.00.
