Those are my two favorite menu items. both delicious! first of all,
it's not a kid friendly restaurant, which is perfect because kids
are horrible and noisy. that could be why i love the place. just because
it's a restaurant doesn't mean it has to cater to your dumbass
kids. you have bad taste, and i bet you're the type of person that
loves nothing more than to bitch and cry. victoria's is fantastic.
Johnny Carino's!?!?!?

So the parking may be tricky, the seating a bit cramped, and it's
a little bit loud in there...but the pasta is EXCELLENT!!!!!
Whatever cheese and marinara sauce that they use there is absolutely
delicious, and the bread is pretty good too. My personal favorite
is the cheese lasagna...I'm getting hungry just thinking
about it! Anyhow, it's probably not the most ideal place
to take kids...but if you want to grab a meal there with a friend
or significant other...it's definitely the place to go!

If you've never had italian food, this might be alright,
but I'd prefer a bowl of spaghetti O's - the quality is
damn near the same but the price is much better.

Try Johnny Carrinos instead

Unfortunately, that other reviewer had a bad experience here...I
never have. Great quaint small atmosphere...good for a little
romantic italian dinner! Food is great!

I went to Victorias lastnight along with my husband and two kids.
We met about 10 other people there for a little get together. We
had been looking forward to trying this little shop for quite
some time so it seemed like a good idea.
First off, there is NO childrens menu & NO children friendly pasta
dishes either. When I asked for a childrens menu they acted as
if I had shot their mother... and said, just order them something
from the regular menu - we don't make hamburgers and hot dogs here...
as if "victorias" is too good or even an upscale restaurant - this
place is a dirty little hole in the wall with a cramped seating
area and rude college students so called "working" there. There
isn't a very good selection to choose from with no more than 15
items on the menu.
When we got there, we pulled together some tables and sat down
and waited... it was a good start I thought & was hopeful for the
quality of waitstaff there. Once we all arrived and was seated
...

The location is on an out of the way street on campus but the pasta
is worth going there. It is a nice change of pace from the larger
Italian restraunts and the atmosphere is small and quite.

Victoria's seems to have finally bounced back from a few so-so
years and is as good as ever. While the parking situation is tricky,
the seating cramped, and the service touch-and-go, you'll not
find better pasta in the Norman area. Their selection isn't extensive
but the ingredients are fresh and the flavors exquisite. The
marinara is a personal favorite, but there's nothing on the menu
not worth trying. Be sure to get a salad with your meal; the combination
of crisp loose-leaf lettuce, real grated parmesan, and tangy
balsamic vinegar is beyond compare. The place is usually crowded
with university types, even on weekdays, but you won't lack for
good conversation. Another plus is the locally created artwork,
which changes from time to time. If you're searching for Italian,
this is the place.
