Generally, the food and services is very good - there are exceptions
to both. Which is why there is a risk! I like to think of the restaurant
as a comfort spot. However, recently I have experienced inconsistency
in service and quality. Specifically, I ordered salmon and asked
ot to be cooked medium. I was told they could not cook it medium,
so I asked that it not be cooked to a dry consistency. They didn't
get it right; it was too cooked and thus lacked flavor and appeal.
Also, I asked for the side of pasta to be served with olive oil and
garlic and was informed that there would be an additonal $1 charge,
even though the same main dishes did not distinguish in price
for any sauce. Sadly, I have lost some regard for the restaurant
and will seek others for my comfort spot without giving up on it
entirely.
