I signed up for this website just to let the people of Jonesboro know
how well they have it. I lived in the jonesboro area the majority of my
life and The China Garden- Kirin were always the go to restaurant to
me when I had trouble deciding what I wanted for lunch or dinner. I moved
to NWA in 1997 and I was also often to return to visit family in jonesboro.
After alot of dissapointments in Asian buffets I always looked forward
to visiting home and tasting really well done asain food. The food at
Kirin on the Buffet is different from the typical. While most buffet
food is bland and can sometimes be "not so fresh" Kirin has
some of the best there is to offer even compared to the sit down asain
restaurants in Fayetteville. The Lo mein is actually authentic as
apposed to the italian style pasta that is serves in most buffets. The
hibachi chicken and sesame chicken are always flavorful and on point.
I want the people of the jonesboro area to make sure they dont take ...

Oh my goodness.. where do I begin? This is one of my very favorite
Asian restaurants in Jonesboro. Their fried rice is excellent,
as well as their beef and broccoli, noodles with vegetables,
and many other dishes. I do wish they would serve tempura on the
buffet more often. The staff are very polite and the prices are
reasonable. I highly recommend Kirin to anyone who enjoys a delicious,
well-stocked buffet.

This is a very good place to eat at. I would avoid it though, during
lunch hours because as busy as it is, you would think it was the
only place to eat in Jonesboro. The food is delicious. They have
various Asian dishes so that even the pickiest will find something
here to enjoy. Even the kids will love it!

First, Kirin serves chinese buffet, including Southeast Asian
food. Actually I'm not aware that they're serving Thai as the
header describes. Seems that every asian restaurant in Jonesboro
has to serve buffet or they won't be able to survive, I might be
wrong on this one though. They have huge selection of food, including
satay (grilled skewed chicken meat which is served with peanut
sauce), and many of them are excellent. The place can be very crowded
so I guess many people agree with me on the the quality of both the
food and the staff.
