very good food, not spicy but offer several condiments to add
flavor to your taste, truly mexican style. The staff has always
been pleasant and ready to serve your needs.

This is a authentic Mexican place (if you are looking for Tex-Mex
this ISN'T it). The ala-cart items are the best buy (pick what
you want to eat - not the pre-defined combinations). The white
cheese dip is really good as are many of the dinner items. The
drink prices are reasonable (24oz Dos XX - $3.50) so Friday and
Saturday nights are packed.

My girlfriend and I have asked ourselves several times, "how
does El Porton stay in business"? I have dined there only once,
but once was enough. The food had no flare. I remember unseasoned
ground beef as a filling and this was the best part of the meal.
My brother also dined there and made the same comment, He said
he got some sort of meat nachos and was dumbfounded when he got
his order. It was plain ground beef over corn chips, he had to request
something to pour over it. Thus far, I have only met one person
who enjoys this place. I have been tempted to go back only because
I am so surprized that they are still in business, who knows, maybe
they have one entree that keeps their doors open.

Thsi is another cookie cutter mexican place in little Rock. What
makes this place unique is the white queso and the fact that most
of the wait staff clearly has english as a second(or third) language.
There are many very low lunch deals during the buasiness week
($3-$6).
