This is my favorite restaurant. The food may not be the spiciest or the most authentic, but for sheer taste, I haven't found it's match. The Tachas and Enchiladas are fantastic.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican, this isn't it. However for Tex-Mex it is good. Most of the entrees are average, for a Mexican restaurant. THe atmosphere is very friendly. The servers have always been great. The food needs to be spiced up a bit.

At its previous location (70th & Van Dorn) I had stopped going to Arturo's because the dishes seemed bland compared to other Tex Mex places, even in Nebraska. The "strip mall" atmosphere was not a draw either. HOWEVER, the new location in Lincoln's Haymarket fits them much better. It is a very narrow building next to the Star City Dinner Theatre--don't miss it! Like many other establishments in the area, they utilize the "exposed brick" look, which works well for a Mexican place. I've only been there once--and just had an appetizer and drinks--but I was pleased. One of my wife's good friends says it is her favorite place, so I'll be sure to go back and try more.
