Wow -- I am completely opposite of the last review. I LOVED La Paz. I grew
up in Texas and Southern California so I am always eating Mexican food
at home as well as when I travel. The big beef burrito was excellent tasting
and the extra hot salsa was the best. I bought some for take out and took
it to a family reunion and it was a huge hit. I have a cousin in grad school
in Lincoln and I encouraged him and his friends to come eat at La Paz.

Lincoln's Mexican food (except maybe Las Magarita's and
the other three restaurants owned by the same group as Las Magarita's)
has always been very disappointing, probably the worst I've ever
tasted (and I've sampled Mexican food from all over the United
States). The food is not tasty and isn't even spicy. The Mexcian
places we had in Louisiana (where I lived most recently) at least tasted
like they were seasoned correctly. I left La Paz feeling very disappointed
and misled by the many people who suggested it to us. Avoid eating here
by all means!

Again, hard to find a real authentic Mexican eatery in Lincoln.
Very American influenced so not really to special. Decent prices,
friendly staff, fast service and a nice comfortable place to
eat. Their chips and salsa are pretty good too. Lincoln still
needs authentic Mexican food.

One of the best Mexican food places in Lincoln. Good portioned
meals and really good freshly made chips with salsa.

This is by far my favorite margarita place. Not too sweet, or too
bitter. They are perfect. The food is good too, but i usually have
too many margaritas to really taste it anyway....lol

The food is pretty average but the margeritas are worth trying!
They also have some good desserts.

I personally really liked it. The food came out fast, the staff
was friendly and the food had a nice spicy taste to it. everything
was fresh and seasoned to perfection.

Have been here a few times, and there is no taste in the food.
I have always went away disappointed. The bar is the only thing
that keeps me going back.
If you want average taste, and nothing special go here!

The BEST Mexican food in town. All food is fresh,
made from scratch. Try the Black Bean Soup, Fish Tacos,
Chicken Quesadilla, or Potato Enchiladas. The refried
beans are well seasoned--the best I have ever had.
They also have a good selection of vegetarian entrees.
