Really nice and trendy place, yet very expensive. Dont get me wrong,
it is worth every penny, but not the kind of restaurant you might want
to try if you are on a budget...

An absolutely wonderful restaurant.
I am a college student in town and I received a $50 gift certificate for
the French Cafe. I decided to take my girlfriend there for her birthday
and it ended up that we both had the meal of our lives.
The service was excellent and our server made up for our lack of fine
dining experience by recommending some excellent wines and dishes.
The French Onion soup was amazing as was the salad which came with the
meal.
We both had the filet mignon for our entrees and I doubt that I will ever
find another steak which could compare to it. To top it all off they even
provided us with a complementary flambe since it was my girlfriend's
birthday (which was unbelievably delicious).
Like other reviews have mentioned, the food is wonderful and the prices
reflect this fact. After using my $50 gift certificate the remainder
of the bill was still 80 dollars (even including a free dessert). However,

THis is a "rare occasion" place to eat. HTe prices are high,
but very worth it. This is some of the best foreign cuisine that Omaha
has to offer. If you have a tastebud for very rich flavorful food this
is the place for you.

This is the class of Omaha cuisine. Its expensive, but well worth every
penny. This is a special occasion resturaunt for most and they treat
you like it. The food is superb, and they treat you like royalty.

Pricey, but worth it. An extremely nice 'special occasion'
restaurant. Last time we were there the guy at the next table got a ring
out and got on his knee. Also have a Sunday brunch that is not that expensive,
but is very good. The best 'fancy' place in Ne.
